is my tool dual voltage?Updated 9 months ago
having dual voltage means that a tool can be used in a larger range of voltage settings - from the United States/ Canada to Europe, for example.
you'll know a tool is dual voltage by reviewing information in the manual and on the actual body of the tool.
- North American voltage range is typically 110 - 120v
- European voltage range is typically 220 - 240v
so if your tool shows a range of 120 - 240v, that means that it has dual voltage capability, and can be used while traveling without a voltage converter! a plug adapter is likely needed though! 😊
